How To Like Yourself 2

Tips

  • At night, while you're in bed ready to sleep, think of 5 things that make you grateful for that day. Even if you have a terrible day, you should be happy that you had food to eat, friends and family there for you, and for being alive. If you're reading this, you have a computer and a home, and you're extremely lucky for that; more than you'll ever realize. There are always more unfortunate people than yourself.
  • Laugh! Laughing will instantly make you feel better, and it releases feel-good hormones.
  • Think of the good times you've had, to smile and laugh all over again. Flip through photo albums as well. Don't be sad because it's over, smile because it happened!
  • To boost your mood fast, treat yourself to some sugar, wear bright colors and listen to some upbeat music!
  • Talk to a friend about your insecurities and problems, they'll make you feel better.
  • Smile! It will lighten up your face and make you attractive and approachable.
