Apparent murder-suicide at Wal-Mart lot in Ohio

SALEM, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in northeast Ohio are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving an estranged couple found shot to death in a Wal-Mart employee parking lot.
Police in Salem, located southwest of Youngstown, say the man shot and killed his former girlfriend about 2:40 a.m. Sunday in the employee parking lot and then killed himself. A handgun was found near his body.
The names of the two weren't immediately released.
Detective Dave Talbert tells The Salem News the woman was on a work break when the man approached and shot her and them himself. There apparently were several witnesses to the shootings.
The Columbiana County coroner's office says no update was available.
