1 Corinthians 6:19-20 

19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,

20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

The Fruit of the Spirit: The Spirit lives in us You know, the longer you live as a Christian, the more you discover just how good God really is. You know that you are saved through Jesus Christ. But you are not only saved from something--from sin and hell--but saved for something too. You are saved so that you might serve him with your life right here and now. God is so good that he doesn’t just lay those huge expectations on you and then leave you on your own, but he actually causes the Holy Spirit to live within you to help you each day. The Bible says, “Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God.
