Words of Wisdom

All the facts may be telling you that it’s impossible. But God is saying today, “Where you are is not permanent. I will suddenly change things in your life.”

Never allow the energy of others to become your own….

People deal with things in various ways. Not everyone can handle pressure, obstacles, or trials and keep moving in a positive direction. Misery tends to love company and so most people choose to vent or take their problems out on others. Sometimes, people don’t even realize that they’re exhibiting behaviors outwardly based on their current situation but that energy affects those that they’re around nonetheless. The key is being around a person like this and not allowing transference of energy to take place.

Jesus dealt with negative energy from his own disciples on many occasions. There was one time when he even told Peter, “Get behind me Satan”. He didn’t stand to argue why Peter should get behind him or discuss the ways the Peter could change so that he could stay in front of him. A lot of times, we spend our time trying to change the person with the negative energy, when Jesus showed us clearly that sometimes we simply need to remove ourselves from the situation/ the person exhibiting the energy. This becomes a task when it’s a co-worker or family member we live with. Then the key becomes to stop expecting and start accepting. We would love for people to be better, do better, but sometimes that just isn’t the case and we have to be willing to accept people where they are until God chooses to move them somewhere else. Expecting them to change just because they’re getting on our nerves will nothing but increase our stress level in that situation. At the end of the day, the only person we can change is ourselves and we have a hard enough time doing that.

So when that person’s energy is about to place you in a certain state of mind, change your space. Walk away, turn on some music, read your bible, do something to divert your attention. Don’t give them the pleasure of making you the company that misery keeps.
God has already delivered you from every situation and challenge!!!! YOU WIN!!!!
God gets glory out of seeing you large and in charge because it shows himself big in the earth!!!
It grieves God when we’re miserable. We don’t like it when our children are unhappy and God doesn’t like it either.
God paid a tremendous price for us to a have a wonderful, joyful life.
No matter what your circumstances, trust in God. Give the battle to Him and rest assured that He will take care of you.
