The Fruit of Your Mouth

Besides blood, words are one of the main vehicles of blessing or cursing. The words of our mouth give expression to what we think, feel and want. Our words reveal what our hearts contain. Our words are ultimately a result of who we believe we are.
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good;
or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?
for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”
MATT. 12:33-34

“Abundance”…What does Jesus mean by “abundance?” He means “the surplus.” It is the build up and overflow of whatever is in abundance in your heart.
WHAT IS IN YOU, WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT! Whatever comes out of your mouth, is what is in your heart in abundance. This shows where God can work on us and where we may have generational curses in operation. God’s revelation is never a condemnation…He wants us to confront what He identifies in our life!
On the positive side, your world is framed by the words of your mouth. Hebrews 11:3 tells us that the “worlds were framed by the word of God.”
If creation would have remained in the heart of God …and never proceeded out of the mouth of God, there would be no world today. Say what you want, not what you see!

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
GEN. 1:1-3

In this verse, we see that God SAID the opposite of what he SAW.
HE SAW DARKNESS ….HE SAID, “Let there be light.”
HE SAW CHAOS… HE SAID “ORDER.”
HE SAW EMPTINESS – HE SPOKE FULLNESS.
This leads me to the next thing I wanted to share with you…your future is framed by what you say, not what you see.
For some, this is confirmation that you are on the right track. Others will read it and be pierced to the heart that they are sabotaging themselves with their own words. God never identifies an area we have to change without giving us the tools to confront these areas. I want to share with you THREE STEPS to escaping a self-imposed curse:

  1. Repent.
Recognize and admit to God that we made a negative confession about ourselves or others and repent of it.
  1. Revoke.
Unsay, or cancel it, using Jesus’ name.
  1. Replace
Replace your wrong confession with the right one.

Romans 10:10 says, “…and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” The Word of God shows us that WORDS are a main vehicle of transferring either blessing or cursing. Our mouths give expression to what we think, feel and want. Further, our words are a result of who we believe we are!! This can work for us …or against us – it all depends on us.
WHAT IS IN YOU, WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT! Whatever comes out of your mouth is what exists in your heart. You cant confront what you don’t identify. God will identify the negative cycles of generational cursing in our lives, so that they may be confronted and overturned with the blessing of Abraham. God gives us power through His Son Jesus Christ to confront and conquer these curses by using our mouths as a vessel of blessing for ourselves and others! Use your words as a powerful tool for blessing, and renounce any agreement with Satan’s words TODAY.
