Count your blessings because there could be none to count.....
Every time you think you're going through something, step outside your
door, look around, and see that you so far better off then you thought
you were. Walk out of your house and see the homeless man on the corner
and count your blessings. When you stop at the red light in your air
conditioned car, no matter what issues it may be having at the time,
notice the people sweating on the bus stop standing in this heat and
count your blessings. When you're sitting at your desk complaining about
how much you hate your job, take a trip to the unemployment office,
look around and count your blessings. When you have not a dime in your
pocket, look at all the things God has given you and count your
blessings. If you're complaining about your health, think about Teresa
Bartlinski who is now with God and count your blessings.
God is
blessing you every day, from allowing you to wake up in the morning, to
providing all the things you NEED (having a mansion and a Mercedes is a
WANT) and doing so knowing you are who you are (take that for what it's
worth, I did) and all He askes is that you draw close to him (Matt.
6:25-34). Just know that we all are struggling, we all are battling, we
all are surviving, so when you feel you're all alone, look around, and
count your blessings.
