Meditate On
Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years.

Blessed At God’s Command!

Let me show you something about God’s principle of rest today.
God told the Israelites to sow and reap their land for six years, but on the seventh year, they were to rest
their land (Leviticus 25:1–5). You might ask, “What were the Israelites
supposed to eat in the seventh year if they couldn’t do any sowing or
reaping in that year?”
Well, God said, “…I will command
My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce
enough for three years.” In other words, God would so bless their sowing
in the sixth year that what they reaped would be enough to last them
for three years! Isn’t God so practical?
My friend, when you
observe God’s principle of rest, your needs will be more than met. When
you cease striving and worrying, and simply rest in God’s goodness and
promises made sure by the finished work of His Son, He will command His
blessings on you. You don’t have to worry about losing out to your
colleagues or competitors who depend on manipulation and their
machinations to get what they want. You will have more than enough when
you do it God’s way because He will command His blessings upon you!
