Here’s a Wall Street question for you--why do you think so many large companies have collapsed and filed for bankruptcy? All too often it is the same old story of powerful people driven by greed--people who stole and lied on a grand scale.
What motivates you? What drives you? Did you know that the Holy Spirit lives in the hearts of believers and provides motivation to act out of love for other people rather than greed?
The Bible says in Romans 8:8,6, “Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God . . . but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.” In other words, believers in Christ have spiritual power within them to want the right things and to want the right things and do the right things.
